Tip For Combination High Back
Chairs and Tables Sets
How to keep the snow from piling in the center of
the table
For those of you living in a very wet or snowy
climate we have been asked how you can keep the snow from piling in the
center of the table.
Unfortunately with high back chairs that rise above the table level the
covers can pool over the top of the table which can allow snow and/or
water to settle. If the snow is allowed to sit for long periods of time
this can create moisture under the cover and can cause strain on the
seams of the cover.
There is actually a very simple solution to this problem and you
probably already have the quick fix lying around your yard somewhere (if
you have kids).
To keep your cover in good condition and to prevent snow and water from
sitting in the middle of your table you can place a couple beach balls
in the center of the table under the cover. This will allow the snow and
water to drain off more easily and help prevent the weight of the snow
and water from causing stress tears on the cover.
Care and Cleaning of Your Covers:
To keep your covers clean and in good condition it is recommended that for normal dirt that you lay the cover out flat and spray with a hose, then use a sponge or damp cloth to wipe it clean. For tougher stains and dirt you can use WD40 and a sponge or damp cloth.
The smaller covers such as chair covers can be put in the washing machine one (1) at a time (it is recommended that you include a few towels to balance the load) on the gentle cycle in cold water with a very small amount of detergent. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER, LINE DRY ONLY. It is not recommended to machine wash the larger covers.
